Last week, Kerrie and Darren decided to celebrate their 40th birthday's with an Hawaii themed party! It was a family affair - the place was full of adults and kids of all ages running around and dancing the night away. Everyone dressed up appropriately in flowery, summery clothing with Hula leis and Hawaii shirts - even me! The hall was lovingly and painstakingly decorated to resemble an island paradise and the weather did its best to join in too; It was balmy and hot and still - not a whisper of wind. This was great as the BBQ was very popular and it meant I could relocate outside to do the Photobooth. I could still hear the music very well, but it meant we all had a bit more space to play and were a little cooler too!
It was a great night, and everyone really enjoyed themselves. The new flowery backdrop suited the theme well - it's made from synthetic flowers that were originally Hawaiian leis, and even though we were outside, didn't blow around in the breeze (Well, it was a fairly still night). I've added a few sample pictures below so you can see how it went; guests can dive in to the password protected gallery and download to your hearts content.
So thanks Kerrie and Darren, it was great fun!
