New Albums for 2014 - I present the amazing FOLIO Albums
Oh yes.
I now have samples of the 2014 Albums to share with you all.
Designed by rathergood photography, but handmade by the amazing FOLIO Albums, these albums aren’t just to be looked at: they’re to be held and lingered over, and we have leather, silk and cotton cover ranges that just beg to be touched, gazed upon, fondled and generally adored.
FOLIO hand-bind these Albums before encasing them in fine materials: the albums open out flat with an almost invisible crease, so we can display your happiest moments across two pages. FOLIO use pigment-based archival inks, so the crease will keep its discreet nature and, unlike silver halide, won’t discolour over time. And, they use non-yellowing archival glue to assemble the books. The quality remains the same as the first time it was opened..
The matte-finished fine art papers are truly beautiful and are chosen to last a lifetime and have an impeccable, sustainable provenance. Our standard Album is 'Art White' paper. It is wood-based 200 gsm paper and is a bright, white paper that reproduces a vivid spectrum of colours to deliver a punch.
Our main sample album, is the standard 12" x 12" Art White with Jade Leather cover, and an embossed logo. You of course can replace this logo with your names, or have it completely plain. The smaller album is the 6" x 6" Duplicate, in Duck Egg Cotton Cover. As the name suggests, it is a duplicate of the main album: 2 of these are included in the Gift Album package.
There are a wide range of covers available - both in various colours of Leather as well as Cotton or Silk, two further paper types, as well as various smaller sizes.
