Today I thought I'd take you on a journey.
Not just any old journey, no. Using the power of magic, (Well, displaying some of my favourite moments from weddings across the last year or so) I'm going to take you all along on a journey with me through some wonderful wedding day stories.
I was almost going to call this blog entry, '2015: a Year in Review' but I realised that this didn't quite encompass what I wanted to get across. I wanted to show you all some of my favourite wedding pictures since my last review; to give all you wonderful couples and people planning weddings for 2016 and 2017, an updated view of my more recent weddings, and that title wasn't quite right. I've been very busy this year and an annual review would have missed a wedding that sneaked in at the end of 2014 as well a beautiful wedding from a grey, wet and windswept Valentines Day just past.
So I'm not going to call it that.
That title would also have required the inclusion of various other projects and events I've been fortunate enough to be involved in this year - but this blog is about weddings. Wonderful, joyous, emotional, happy, eventful, sunny (sometimes rainy) and uplifting weddings.
Well. Here we are. Struggle as I might, I have managed to reduce the pictures down to less than a thousand :) It was very difficult as I've been fortunate to have so many wonderful pictures, of many many amazing people that I could have shared with you. So to the subjects of the pictures that made it to this blog entry, I thank you.
I need to let you know that I am now pretty much fully booked up for weddings across 2016 - but I do have a couple of dates free towards the end of the year so please get in contact if you'd like to see if I'm available for your date. I'm now taking bookings for 2017 (and even for those organised couples I have already spoken to, for 2018 too!), although popular dates are starting to get booked up - so please drop me a line if you would like to talk more.
So here we go. Hold on tight, sit back and relax - set your mouth to 'wide grin' and your eyes to 'Wow!'
Enjoy scrolling through - Part One below takes you from the start of the day, through some preparations and whatnot, and on to the ceremony itself (and yes, you are allowed to kiss when you get to this part). Be sure to look out for Part Two and Part Three where we move from the ceremony to the reception and then on into the night - both coming to the blog very soon!!
I hope you enjoy looking at these pictures as much as I loved making them.
