Elly and Ben are getting married in Summer 2017 (call back again then to see a taste of their wedding pictures), and as part of the build-up to that, we had a wonderful engagement shoot a few weeks ago in Shoreditch, London. Slightly different to the usual locations for engagement photography, they are both big fans of the street art in the area, so we arrived on a freezing and damp November Sunday morning to have walk around and take in the sights. An engagement shoot is a brilliant way to get to know me as your photographer before the big day arrives, so that when it does, we're already like old friends and you feel much more relaxed in front of the camera. It's also an opportunity to get some early photographs that you may want to use as part of your invitation, or for something else to display at your wedding. In fact, it's really just a great excuse to get some photographs of yourselves together!
We had a great time - even though I did get a lot of condensation on my beard - and found some wonderful art. Despite the damp chill, we had tea/coffee and lots of laughs, which warmed us up properly and made the day really good fun. Elly and Ben, roll on the Summer 'cos I can't wait!!
