Well, Hello!!! :)
This summer has been a wonderful season; filled with new found marital bliss, drinking, laughing, eating and dancing the night away. So much so that I'm behind a bit with some pictographic insights into some of these wonderful occasions.
The first one I am going to share with you is Jess + Pook's laughter filled day. It was a lovely and sunny day in Berkshire, and the day's festivities took place at a fantastic venue - Sanctum on The Green. They are both lifelong music fans - as were a lot of their guests - and this was reflected in the choice of venue (owned by the Manager of Iron Maiden and there's Gold Discs everywhere to prove it) and the surprise music guest at the end of the speeches.
Bridal transport was laid on by a family friend in a beautiful VW Camper Van, you know - one of those old lovely, shiny ones. The bridal party all wore beautiful different colour but matching dresses, whilst the Groom's party (the Groom plus 3 best men) had a more eclectic mixture of dapper wear.
The ceremony was wonderful with readings and more laughter than I've ever seen during vows and ring exchanges, and the surrounding countryside was verdant and welcoming to us for our little stroll around. Jess even had a very little go on a swing on the old green, but I think Pook wanted to go on it more than her - I know I fancied a go :)
Anyway, please have a look at the taste of their wedding day story below - I hope you enjoy it and there's more to come from more wonderful summer weddings very soon,
