A few weeks ago, I had the honour of the company of two wonderful people and their families. Kate and Jon got married at a beautiful venue, High Rocks near Tunbridge Wells in Kent. This venue - as well as catering for weddings large and small - has restaurants, bars and a lovely garden. What makes it even more unusual is that in its grounds it has its' own station on the Spa Valley Railway line - a steam train - as well as acres of breathtaking sandstone rocks interlinked with eleven bridges. This provides a beautiful scenic walk up in the trees where it's tranquil and away from the people below. These rocks were once a stone age camp and are now a national monument.
The day promised rain early on, but our luck held as the clouds cleared, making way for a beautiful hot sunny day. Kate & Jon's children looked very handsome in their matching shirts, shorts and converse shoes, and Kate's dress sparkled like a really sparkly thing!
There was lots of dancing, drinking and wandering in the woods - a great day and thank you so much for letting me be a part of it.
I've put a few pictures below to give you a taste of their day,
Matt
